The shop participated in a bike show this weekend and it has me motivated. It also freed up a lift so I'm after next weeks swap meet I hope to get started on my '31 DL project.
I can't contribute much to this topic at the moment, perhaps a close-up of an old HD flathead engine.
Ground, polished, chrome-plated, and slightly dusty...
I have a passion for good photography; close-up shots of old motorcycle engines are a little hobby of mine...

PS I fondly remember how much work and passion our buddies invested in those old machines back then. Money was tight, and spare parts were even scarcer. And when those old hard drives finally spewed out their first sound, it was always a party!

First time out since the Race of Gentlemen in October. It takes a minute to put all the stuff back on after racing. I decided to leave the front crash bar off for now. I had bought it for the Cross Country Chase to have a place to mount a set of pegs for a second foot location for the long days, it worked well for that. But my boot does not play well with them when trying to brake. I was nice not kicking them during my ride. Maybe they go back on but not today.
Still in need of someone local to help me get the tune to 100%, my local guy retired on me. She is at 90% and will ride all day long but I can feel the hesitation when shifting and the top end is not what it should be. But for now she is back on the road for the season.
