I've never done aything like that.

My primary concern is that there isn't any frame damage and I check the neck closely to ensure the holes that the races are pressed into are round and the cup fits correctly (not lose). I've seen more than a few that are oval that prevent the cups from being installed correctly.

Rear wheel alignment is in play to the front wheel if its off this also happens as said anything loose in the front and some want to be tight in the steering damper if you do take it apart clean all the pieces for the damper and put in new discs so it actually puts resistance to the fork and low air pressure in the tire look in the factory book its not what you think

wheel truing is also in play and tire age if the tire is 5 years old its to hard and its not spinning round - while they are cool they are deadly if you dont have it right

lots of rear brake if it does it again and sit back not forward
