British 4 speed gearbox

Anyone put a 4 speed Brit gearbox in a 45 ? if so any info would be appreciated.

Helped a friend build one many,many yrs. ago,mounting plate adapter was a pia getting right also shifting linkage.A 45 chopper mean's your leg's are too long for the shifter, can't fold up that tight and your ankle bend for shifting.Gained about 5mph on the top end and, got there a little faster.Use the stock triumph clutch and cable.Triumph tranny was weaker but worked ok long as you did'nt slam it often.Triumph,BSA were most popular although I think a Royal Enfield would work.
