Default Disable pop ups
How do I turn off the pesky pop ups that appear when my curser crosses over a word in green?

What browser are you running?

If it's Firefox I can help because I had that same problem and it's a Firefox add on issue.

an ad program has installed itself on your computer. the only way to get rid of it is to find it in your list of installed programs and remove it.

I looked in my programs and didn't see anything that isn't supposed to be there.

Look for "add ons" to your browser. It should be in the browser menu. When you find it, you should be able to disable it. Is it called "tidy network" or something like that?

I didn't see anything like that in my add-ons. This seems to be the only forum that has the pop ups on the green words.

I disabled the shockwave player and it seemed to take care of my problem with the pop ups.

Sorry to butt in, everyone.

Glen, are you seeing those word pop-ups even when you're logged in? That's actually something that should only happen to logged out users.

Yes they where there logged in. Disabling shockwave got rid of the pop ups that where in the text.
