Despite getting a cookie, I have to re-log in each time I visit. This is happening on all of my computers. Why does this happen here? All of the other forums I visit allow you to stay logged in if you accept a cookie.
At the top of the forum page, click on My Profile. Near the bottom of your profile page is a box that needs to be checked so you can stay logged on. Since it is happening to all your computers, I suspect this is where the problem is.
If your using Internet Explorer click on Tools, click on Internet Options, click on Privacy, click on advanced, select allow on first and third party cookies, check override automatic cookie handling and check always allow session cookies.
Log Out and log back on, this should work if you have allow cookies checked in your profile.
Thanks for the reply. It appears AOL, my preferred gateway, does not handle the cookies from this site in the same manner as it does the other forums I use. When going in just using Internet Explorer it handles the cookie and allows me in without the login. When using AOL i have to login. Strange.
