Profile Picture Questions
I am just getting back into following HD Forums. I remember way back. when you posted a procedure for downsizing my pictures so I could change my profile picture. I use to use Photobucket and it would do it, but now their site, to me , is screwed up. I have been able to post pictures from the DEVICE option straight from my computer file but this does not seem to work on changing my profile picture ??? Can Ya give me a little lesson on changing my profile picture ? Thanks in advance for any help that you can send my way.

I believe you are referring to an "avatar" when you say a "profile picture". Forget Photobucket. You have to pay them now to use pictures from their site.
To change the avatar:
1. Click "UserCP"
2. Click "Edit Avatar"
3. Click "Choose File"
Read the comment under "Choose File".
If you do this and your avatar doesn't change, the picture is likely too big. If you do this and it doesn't work, post back with exactly what problem you're having.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 1.91 MB (whichever is smaller).
