There's some ad on this site that causes Android phones to pop up a fake "your phone is infected" virus. Happens every time I go on this site from my phone.

Yes, ad blockers will probably work. And it also deprives this site of the ad revenue they'd otherwise receive. I generally like to support the sites that are helpful, like this one, but if the only solution is to go to an ad-blocker then I will.
