Who wants to make odds that Wodan pays for a membership for unfettered access to the POD. It will become his personal soap box to bash America and Israel. Such fun.
I don't think it's got anything to do with money. There aren't really that many who post to the POD, so not much revenue. Banning bad players is easy enough to do. So, I don't really get the motive at all.

Sara. I am willing to bet someone at Harley said to IB clean it up or we will move our name elsewhere. It is about money. Harley needs (wants) a new image. A bunch of old men insulting each other isn’t it.
Look how quiet it got very quickly. The Political ****** have stopped posting wondering if the next thing is an outright ban for them. And I am talking about both sides. I don’t differentiate.

Ironically, I was a paid member, but a few years ago I informed IB that I would not be renewing, specifically because of the racist, homophobic, religious bigotry and hatred that permeated the POD. Not that they cared. Well, at the time at least.
Now, the MoCo is trying as hard as they can to attract millennials, who are vilified in the POD, and to attract people of color, who are insulted in the POD, and other "non-traditional" Harley owners, who are the butt of jokes in the POD.
The POD is dedicated to insulting and driving away the exact demographics that the MoCo is spending millions of dollars to try to attract.
Not surprised things are changing.

I think it's funny. After reading some of the replies here, I got curious and tried to make a reply to one of the threads in POD. I promptly got a reply saying that I didn't have permission to access that section. As far as I am concerned, to hell with them, I'm not going to pay, this forum has plenty of other sections that I can go to for entertainment.

But here's the real point: no one can tell me that things said on this forum or any other would influence someone to buy Harley or not. But whatever. If Harley wants to introduce a bike with training wheels and a free ***** hat, it's their business.

Not really. I have read a few comments previously by mods regarding their distaste for the POD. However, it is or was the most fun on this forum and anyone not approving did not have to engage in it. The political rhetoric was priceless IMO.

It seems to me there must have been some sort of catalyst, or final straw that broke the camels back. If thats true, there is a member, most likely a POD regular, who knows who they are and could explain everything, but has chosen not to. And no, it wasnt me.
