some times when I click on a post, and if there are several pages in same, Instead of going to first page/post I find myself in the middle,ex, page 3 or 5
is that a settings issue?

Not sure how that can happen, if you click on the subject title it should take you to the first page, then you can skip pages etc after that, or you can go to the very last post in a thread as well and it should show the last page of the posts.

Do you have the limit of posts per page set to our max of 40 per page? Not sure if this will help you, but you can change that setting from forum default to 40 (Number of Posts to Show Per Page) and this will cut down on the number of pages you'll see on any topic.
