IB is in the process of changing over to new and dedicated servers for HDF. They own over 60 forums so this is no easy task. Be patient, they are working on it. There has been a lot of good information here about how to speed up the forum. I am on Firefox with the ads blocked and HDF is as fast or faster than any of the other forums I am on (a fedora hat forum and a cigar forum). I find that some people like to complain about the problem and then when you give them a fix they complain about that. Like I said, we are working on it but when someone says "we have a lot of people complaining" and then I count like twelve posts on the subject and there are several thousand users and visitors online at that same time I have to think that some of it is the fact that lots of people just don't keep their computer running up to it's optimum performance. Clear you cache, run your scans, check for malware, the whole nine yards. I have three computers and a Droid and the forum is like lightning for me.

Patience is running a little thin here. This is the slowest most screwed up site I visit. WTF - don't tell me that I need to switch from IE to some other browser. My IE browser works fine on every site I go to exctpt this one. Why can every other site on the net have a system that works but this site can't???

I hit a slow page every so often and doing a refresh usually brings it right in.

Even refresh doesn't work sometimes. It's like trying to squeeze 20 people in a volkswagon.

Add me to the list of complainers then. Its not the PC because I just bought two brand new laptops and I am a Technology mgr. The forum is maple-syrup slow.

I'm glad a solution is being worked on.
