Default front ABS brakes

I had a crack in the plastic front brake sensor so I soldered it back together. The front brakes will lock up, is the sensor screwed or is it some thing else.

Any DTCs ? If so, what are they?

Edit

OP I did a quick look at your profile to see what year and model bike you have. Are you having trouble with the 2011 Touring bike you got after it was in a flood? If so, I'd recommend switching to organic pads in the front as they don't have as much initial bite as metal sintered. Chasing electrical issues on any flooded vehicle is going to get expensive quick. I'd get it to go down the road and call it good.

wish there were motorcycle info in the right header so one can see which machine is in discussion, can narrow down the suggestions made instread of a blanket where the poster has to decide which is applied.
if it is the sensor that reads the reluctor ring, it can not make the brakes lock in itself, all it does is supply a tooth count/frequency to the bcm which determines wheel speed and determines slip. just pull the sensor connector, a code will ensue but the machine will still roll, the same if it goes bad. the bcm has windows or parameters which must be met or it will fault the sensor. i would look elsewhere since having a machine just lock up is a very heavy safety issue which can cost hd millions in legal issues.

the bike is a 2011 flhtk, when the front brake is applied it will lock up, just like in the old days before ABS. It works perfect but the ABS will not activate, it works fine on the rear.i personally don't mind but if the system is there I would like to get it working

Before you soldered the front wheel sensor, the bikes front and rear brakes were working as normal, with the abs system operating as it should ,, is that the case ??

After you soldered the front wheel sensor the front brakes operates as a non abs bike, (ie, front brake operates , but no abs with hard braking) , but the rear brake still activates the abs if braking hard ???... That is strange ,, as I was of the opinion that if a fault occurs within the abs system , (ie, abs light on solid and a fault code showing), the brakes, (front and rear), should default and operate as normal ,, (as in a non abs bike),, , but without abs.... If this is not correct, I will stand corrected ....

First off,, before you messed with the front wheel sensor, was the abs light, (on dash), flickering on start up, and then going off while riding, (which is normal) ???
Now,, what is happening to the abs light on the dash ???
Now,, what if any fault codes are showing regarding the abs system ??? If you dont know how to do this for your model bike,, google is your friend..

Whatever your problem is ,,, I would not have tried to repair a damaged wheel sensor , (other than a broken/pinched wire in the wiring loom)...

I agree - if in doubt replace with new, especially if the system was working before you 'fixed' it!
