Showa have supplied front and rear suspension for Harleys for decades, so nothing has changed! As for metric stuff, the whole wide world did that decades ago.

I have found over the past 50 years that when it comes to fork seals, OEM is the way to go, no matter what type motorcycle it is.

Oh my, I almost forgot about the OP. I recommend harley stuff for common service tasks like this because they have 'kits' that include all the replacement parts under one part number. I used to use AllBallz on my metric stuff, but for this Harley I like how they do the kits.
