I was looking for Ohlins rear shocks mainly because of all the people here that said " should have been my first mod" so I was curious and I like upgrades.
First I threw Howard a text about what I wanted but he responded that he wanted to talk on the phone so I called him up.
He was busy doing something but took the time and talked to me and was cool, didn't try to sell me on anything just talked suspension.
so I bought the shocks thru him and got a great deal on them, better than any price i had seen.
Install was super easy but I did call him back to make sure all was well and again he was great and helped me out.
Anyway He wanted me to ride them some and get back to him how I like them, It's only been ~100 miles so far but a far superior ride, I notice a big difference.
Howard if you're reading this I'll be calling you on some FKC102's soon.
Haven't yet bought a thing from Howard. But last week I picked up the phone and called him out of the blue. I have no idea what he was doing at the time but he spent almost an hour with me, educating me on shock design, operation and installation. And, as above, he didn't try to sell me on anything. But he did quote me a great price on Ohlins that should address what I want: a much improved ride without spending anywhere close to a grand. Call me a Likely Future Customer.

Got the #2-2 B
I don't ride real aggressive and just wanted something simple but good all around.
I've got a couple hundred miles on them now and all I did was add 25# preload, probably because I didn't tell Howard about my bag speakers.
What I'm finding out I like the best is I'm not thinking about the shocks/ride quality at all its only when I go over previous spots that's jarred me that I think that wasn't bad
