Front brake resovior leaking?
I just changed the brake fluid (front) on my '04 Softail Standard. I tightened the two phillips head screws on the resovior cover (not to tight) and find silicone fluid is escaping somehow as it is on the area around following the front fluid change. I notice it after a drive of @ 10 miles. It doesn't appear to be leaking from the top cover.

Is it leaking from a fitting? Or from the top cover? Was the seal put on correctly? You did properly tightened down the top reservoir cover right? Did you bleed the brakes? Tightened the banjo nut afterwards? Calipers in good shape? Check brake lines for any kinks or cuts? I would say clean off the entire front brake system good, then check after a ride with plenty of braking action. If its leaking somewhere you will see where from.

Hard to find that leak after a ride.The wind will spread it around.Go over all components as mentioned above with brake clean,then push bike and use brake.That should show where.Top cover SHOULD be directional,let us know how it goes.Sorry for so late posting,Bob
