Default Metzeler Low Profile front tire question?

I just switched my narrow glide front end to a wide glide front end on my 96 FXDL. I am now putting a 21 X 2.15 front wheel on the bike and want to run a Metzeler low profile tire. I'm not sure which would be the proper tireeven from looking at the website. I want to run the Marathon 880's as this is what I think most of you all have spoke about.

Is there any way to determine a low profile tire from a regular tire? Thanks

21" front tires come in either the 80/90/21, 90/90/21 or the 120/70/21 sizes.

Your 2.15x21" front rim is designed for 90/90/21 size tires. You would need a wider rim for the uncommon 120/70/21 tire size.

Why does Harley put a 80/90/21 tire on this rim for stock bikes...cost?

Got any pics??

I am thinking about going 21" in the front. Not sure I want to swap out
the whole front end, but would like to see what it looks like on your
FXDL.

Ray.

I won't be putting the new wheel on for a bit. I have the bike stored right now and will change the wheel a bit closer to spring. If your curious the difference though, check out the pictures of the96 Wide Glide and the 96 Lowrider. The WG has the wide front end with the 21" stock. The rest of the bike is very similiar.
