Can anyone tell me the difference in a front MH90-21 series tire and a 120/70/21 series tire? I am thinking about dropping a 21" x 3.5" wheel on the front end of my Road King after I bent the front wheel last weekend. I was going to wait until later this winter to upgrade form the stock 16", but looks like now that project has been bumped to the top.
A 90/21 tire is 80 mm wide with a 90 height sidewall and a 21" diameter. A 120/70/21 tire is 120mm wide, 70 height sidewall and a 21" diameter. A 90 is too narrow to run a 3.5" rim although I know lots of people do so they can get a white wall on there.
I had a buddy who dented two rims with a 90/21 tire on his 3" rim. I'll dig up some pics from the front of the two different tires for you as well.

Thank you , Hogpro. I figured it would be a stretch putting a 90/21 on a 3.5" wide wheel. I think for safety I will go with a 120/70.
I have another question and Hogpro may be able to answer this too. Can the hub kit on a stock Harley wheel be removed and used on an aftermarket wheel that does not have a hub kit?
Good afternoon, know this is asking a lot since your post was from 2012 but do you remember what size front tire you went with in the 05 Road King Classic pic in your profile?
