Grip alignment question

Grip alignment question
So I put on my new x2 grips today.
They are square and I had a heck of a time trying to get the 2 sides aligned.
They are designed in such a way that you must rotate the whole switch assy on the left grip to change the angle.
I have them pretty close now, but not perfect. Does anyone have a good trick for doing this?
