Unhappy Getting ready to remove my wheels for the first time

I have a 2010 dyna streetbob. I am planning on removing the wheels and taking them to get mounted and balanced for reasons i'm sure are familiar on these forums(harley prices).
I have never done this and i am working on a tight budget. I saved so much money buying my tires at motorcyclesuperstore.com and i ordered a 1500 pound moto lift from harbor frieght tools.
I just went in the garage to check my sockets and realized i don't have one big enough for the rear nut. Anyone know the size? Also, do i really have to change the tubes too?
Will i have to redo the tension on the belt, or will all that hold until i put it back together? Will i need tie downs or will it sit tight on the lift during wheel removal? Also, any helpful tips appreciated. Thanks to all

Changing tubes is cheap insurance.

A service manual will go a long way to give you help for things like this. Ebay is your friend.

No one is obligated to answer any question...

Removing and installing wheels is one of the most critical things done on a motorcycle.

Your questions show a level of inexperience that probably makes a lot of people hesitant about answering.

And your second post in this thread didn`t help you either.

If you have spokes change your tubes. As stated above it is cheap insurance. Most dealers will not change a spoked wheel without changing the tube due to liability.

Agreed....Just because someone views your question, doesn't mean they have the correct answer for you, so they just move on.

I"ve been riding for 45 years and although do almost all my own wrenching, I'm just not comfortable with removal and installation of wheels.

I just have tires installed at an indy, they really don't charge that much for mounting and I have the peace of mind that it's (hopefully) done correctly.
