I have the kit in my 94 FXR. It was a pretty easy install with a press. It came with a small piece to gauge how far to press the inner spacers. Instructions were horrible; It looked like they sent a photocopy of a photocopy. I emailed them to verify that none of the oem stuff got reused.
Haha I had to email for a better set of instructions.
I was just a little worried about the 2nd side when you start pressing the bearings in, instructions said not to put the inside bearing in all the way to make it easier to get everything connected to the transmission. I'm assuming once you snug up that trans the bearings just press into the correct spot?
I just installing that kit a few nights ago. I was a little worried before doing the install as the inner bore of my swingarm was chewed up pretty good. I didn't have anything suitable to press the bearing in so I had to improvise. A few minutes in the freezer and it went together with zero frustration.
The bike is still on the lift and I haven't had an opportunity to try it out yet, but I'm crossing my fingers in the hope that It makes some difference over the ones I pulled out with who knows how many miles on them.
Took the bike for a test rip earlier. It makes a Huge difference!
The change in the ride is hard to really put my thumb on to explain, but if I had to take a stab at it I would say it makes the chassis feel less "twistable". The bike feels much more locked in place and "flickable".

My brother owns Bare Knuckle. Glad the parts are working out for you!! That kit definitely tunes up the ride. Just finished this one up before making it's debut at Sturgis. Gotta love the FXRs.
Agreed, finally got around to getting mine in there and holy crap, feels so SOLID, loving it.
