If you are on Facebook look up FXR Alpha Page, do a search on that page, there is a gentleman doing reproduction hinges from time to time. Also there check with some of other FXR pages. Just beware of the scammers , they are everywhere. Don't know prices, but if you are dilegent you might find a hinge and a latch at reasonable price.

The frame for my FXR4 has the hinge part welded on the frame. I guess when they brought it back and built new frames, nobody told them they didn't need it. And no, HD didn't have frames laying around when they brought back the FXR2/3/4 (old wives tale).
