Hey guys, doing a rebuild on my '91 Fxr. I am pulling the 5 speed gear set so I can throw in my Jim's six speed overdrive transmission....but before I do that I want to take the transmission case and get it either bead blasted or sand blasted, however I don't know what the best option is at the moment because I have never done this before!
Basically my goal is to have the old black paint removed so I can keep it a natural aluminum color...does anybody have any particular recommendations before I jumped into this? I really want to know what the best route would be for this endeavor or any tips/something that most people wouldn't think of unless you're a professional kind of advice.
