I have a question....how many of you actually run into members of large motorcycle clubs out on the road? Can ya'll name any of the clubs in your area? Around here we have Highlanders, Culsacks, and The Last Few. NONE of which are murderers, house burners, gang bangers or any of the other stuff priorly mentioned in this thread. I feel like this is under the same subject margins, so if I'm hijacking, I sure don't mean to, and apologize to the author.
Within the past month here on the southwest side of Houston I have seen HighRollers, BACA, Bandidos, and another one which I couldn't tell the name of since I don't read Spanish but they had Bandidos support patches as well.
Just last year at the Lone Star rally in Galveston I noticed quite a few Bandidos right ahead of me riding down the street. When I realized there were just as many right behind me I decided this might be an great time for a lane change.
I have never seen any members of these groups doing anything but minding thier own business. My wife and I pulled up to "West of the Brazos", a burger joint/bar south of Needville, TX a few weeks ago and two HighRollers walked over and greeted us and in a round about way asked what we were doing. They were friendly about it and without really thinking about it I told them we had been invited by a band member to come listen to his band which was playing at the bar. They just said to have a great time and went about thier business. Turns out one of the HighRollers was getting married there that day. First "biker" wedding I have seen.
Wow, again with the back patches. POW/MIA is perfectly fine and will not get you hasseled now wearing that new one I've seen Lone Wolf/No MC or Lone Wolf/Independant, Jeeze. Most of all its a respect thing. Dosen't really matter what you wear or don't wear, RC/MC, bicycle club, Dosen't matter, attitude will and does matter.
