I don't think that a POW patch will get you in trouble. The problem as I understand it would be the 3-piece patch. I where a CMA backpatch everywhere I go and I have been around 3-piece patch holders and have never had a problem. I was at a large bike show recently and several m/c clubs set up booths. There were several clubs with 3 piece patches represented there. There even some Hells Angels. We talked to a few of the guys and they had no problem with us. We treated them with respect and we were treated with respect. They were very polite and decent to talk too.

A POW/MIA Vest would be fine
It has become a national symbol of fallen and missing service men
I would respect them by not wearing one because I did not serve in the military
I would participate in a run but would not cheapen their ultimate sacrafice
by me wearing one and not have paid any dues for it

+100 - Asked and answered.....
Some of you should return the ego and bravado that came with the new bike for warranty. It's gonna get you hurt or worse yet killed.

Thank you for digging up a thread well over a year old to share your unique perspective!
I wear exactly what I want....and I don't want to wear anything that will cause me grief, so no 3 or 4 piece patches for this guy! Why look for trouble, did that when I was younger, now I'm wiser
Peace
I here ya on that one.........................older now wiser!
