ironhead primary chain slips????
Hey-Der.
Nu-B to forum and hope to get solid advice on problem. Bought a new 74 XLH1000 last week. Last XLH was a 73 I sold in 1980 so some things are coming back thru the fog of old age. When I got her the clutch wouldn't
dis-engage(imagine that). Pulled primary cover and found a brand new chinese ramp ***'y. installed. Bought an OEM assembly from EvilBay and replaced the *****. Now clutch behaves like a goodun but when I let out clutch from a stop it chatters and shutters like primary chain is slipping.
