It's really a shame for buyers that don't want to play games when they are putting their hard earned money on a bike. I'm one who just wants a fair price. I don't want to spend a lot of time negotiating and playing salesmen against each other to not get overcharged. I know the salesmen realize playing these games cost them a sale when they try to BS an informed buyer. Those that play the games know you are going to lose the game sometime to a competitor.
What I consider a fair price is MSRP plus local tax and title and tag. If MSRP is not enough to keep the doors open then the owner or manufacturer need to look at the cost. If I went and bought an expensive house and car and my lifestyle cost more than I made my employer would laugh and tell me to hit the road if I told him I needed more money because I couldn't make it on what I was being paid.
