Why are you resizing them so small? You can host your pics at Imageshack or photobucket for free. There is an option there to let the program select the correct size for webpages.

Don't know what program you are using. A good one to use is photo plus. It's free. They call it the poor mans photoshop.

Size your photo to 6 or 7" wide.Reduce the dpi to at least 72. The file size can't be more than 500k.

You can as said above use a hosting service. There are several. You then use the url that they provide. Then the size doesn't matter. You will only provide the link to the image.

Let us know what program and we can give you step by step.

Never heard of such nonsence. On other sites I can post pics about 20 times bigger than what an avatar is. I can resize pics right on my computer to any size, its called sketch and skew. Its the site that wont take it.

Are you wanting them to be embedded int he post...a thumbnail that you click on and they get bigger? Or are you wanting the big picture to just show up in your post?

HeatherC, his avatar pic is all blurry from resizing, he wants the pic to be more clear.

Get your free account at photobucket and upload your pictures to your account there. They make it super easy resize and to then copy them to this site.
