Besides the cop tucking their trousers into their boots, the polo riders and people who ride their horses around the jumps and water traps do that too. My feet are to big to wear the pull on boots. I have to wear the lace up kind which doesn't leave room for blue jeans to be tucked in. Not that I would want to.
Just thinking about it, I suppose they tuck them in so they don't get the horse crap on their trousers when walking around the stables. That still doesn't explain why the cops do it though. Maybe something to do with walking around their headquarters. 8-)
Because it keeps the donut powder off their pants legs while at Tim Hortons. Of cource I'm refering to the polo riders..........BG

I think that is a San Francisco thing looks a little to *^( for me also how could you catch your shoe string we all know boots are for riding also they make little belt that keep your pants down they go uder your boot (ai need to get a pair)

No, I dont tuck in my pants into my boot when rideing, then again I dont wear bootcut or flared jeans(bellbottoms) hahaha

Tho on certian occasions I will fold up my jeans for that 50s style cuff at the bottom of the jeans.

aren't the leo riders wearing 16" high boots with high gloss leather tops. kind of like that villiage people cop? no offense hehe.
