I've looking at heated gloves. I like the idea of a battery powered heater rather than one that needs to be plugged into the bike. Today I looked at a pair of liners from this store...
I use the Firstgear glove liners. I looked at the Gerbings, but they were too bulky to fit into my gloves. They plug into the Gerbing jacket liner no problem.
The battery-powered option would probably be more convenient, but I believe - and I could be wrong - that the 9v circuit powering it won't keep you as warm as the 12v you'd plug into the bike.
I have gerbings stuff and love it, if you read the times on the battery operated ones I think you'll find that they can be too short for a long day in the saddle with the gloves on and no place to charge them
I like my heated gloves/liners wife does too. Ive never seen that brand cant comment on them. I use first gear glove liners and gerbings/hd gloves and they both work ok.
fwtw None have wowed me yet far as heat but they will keep you from freezing guess that's the main idea. If you had heated grips you loose the heat in your grips anytime you pull your hands off so gloves are better in that aspect imo too. Now having both is real nice if you really want/need warm hands though.
Liners are a lot cheaper is one thing that I liked and they dont take up much room. Far as batteries Id think that idea thru that is the least wow factor of all the heated gear I own but as always ymmv. hth
If you have heated grips, just get some waterproof and wind proof gloves and you will be fine. You can also get liners that accept a chemical heat packet so that is also an option. My little bike doesn't have heated grips so I use the wired Gerbings or the chemical packets with the w/w proof gloves. I don't ever remember my hands getting hot in cold weather with the Gerbings but they do stay warm.
Can't comment on your brand.
Unless you are going to use the gloves off the bike, battery powered is a waste of time and money. Battery life isn't long. A plug in is really the way to go. I use Gerbings. There are other options like First Gear.
I never had the gloves and didn't want to buy them and have two sets of gloves, since the gloves I have now are really nice...so, I bought some hearted glove liners. They came in today but I've been putting in our intercom set.
