I am curious to know who owns more than one bike and what your other bikes are. I have my 05 Deluxe and a 05 GL1800 Goldwing. I have owned mostly Harley's and never ever ridden a Wing. After a 6 hour ride I decided quickly that I wanted a Wing for longer rides so I bought the wing and sold my Screaming Electra Glide. With the money left over I bought the Deluxe. I enjoy both bikes. The Deluxe is great for poker runs and mainly 1 up riding. My wife insists on riding aboard the Wing for any distance. A 700 mile day on the Wing is a piece of cake!
2 up (in our 20's) - V45 Magna, which we still have. 2 up (in our 40's) '04 Fat Boy. This however happens rarely these days, as my wife now has her own ride...an '03 800 Vulcan. Owned an '84 Aspencade fm 1999 until just recently. Sold it to my father, and used the bucks for downpayment on the Fatty. Don't miss it so far.
