HJC IS-2. Harley sells the same one with their name on it. Fits well. No complaints. Got it in white for the summer. Old timer in the area pinstriped it for me.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a good dot that doesn't give me a mushroom head or a well made novely. Thanks

i'm sure the op thanks you for your unsolicited and totally worthless post. in your haste to post your personal agenda, you totally blew past the part where the op is not ruling out a dot helmet.....
I really don't want to get involved in this debate. It is far too emotional on each side. But, one observation I have is that most motorcycle cops I see wear a half helmet or a 3/4.
Seems like they would know a thing or two about safety, and I would imagine they put on more miles than the average rider, and all in traffic.

Just an observation.

The ones in the US need to be able to deal proficiently with a firearm. Perhaps thats part of the reason why they, like everyone's military, don't wear FF helmets.
Wifey and I wear Schuberth C3 Pro Modulars, and we love them for a number of reasons. Here in Florida, we cringe when we see riders wearing shorts, sandals, and bare heads. One wonders if they've ever hit the payment even at walking speeds, let alone highway speeds.
Wifey and I both spend much of our lives working in ICUs and ERs-a prudent person learns from other peoples mistakes...
