Back in the 70's I added 6'' over tubes on my bike with changing the rake..

Being a Machinist I took a block of Alum, bored holes in it to make it light weight and made my own shim-block. It was about 3'' tall, I put 2 set screws in it that held it to the Kick stand... what we used to call Jiffy stands back then....~~~~~

I know you said your using a 3 1/2" block under the stand now, but if you switched the front from an 17" to 21" that seems like it would be way too much?
The increase in wheel diameter only counts as "lift" from the axle down- so a 4" difference only means 2" of "lift". Also, your tire sidewall is shorter than what you had on the other wheel, so your not even 2" higher now- probably more like 1"-1 1/4".
I tracked the wedge down somewhere online, maybe ebay? It's been a long time now. There's a difference between 08 and earlier and 09 and later if I recall. The stand retracts fine, never noticed a difference.

I know they're rare- but they exist. Here's a picture of mine.

That make total sense in the measurement you mentioned. I'll keep trying to find one. The pic you sent is very helpful. Worst case, I could have one made once I get my lift so I can take the stand off and get a pattern. If you get a chance can you measure the thickest part so I can get an idea of how thick to taper off of. In the mean time I will keep searching. I would rather just find one than make one, nor do I want to change the front springs out either. Quite costly for sure at this point in time.

Again, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated

I just checked and the top of the wedge is 3/8" thick. You're welcome, happy to help.

Well, I made the best of a bad situation. I took a block of aluminum and cut it and shaped it to fit my needs for raising my bike more than one inch, seeing I couldn't purchase anything longer than 1" kickstand extension. I drilled it tapped it and it works perfectly. You don't even notice it when the bike is on stand. Now the bike sits like it should on side stand. Not for everyone but works for me

Not that rare , I've 4-5 in different sizes in box somewhere and I'm sure Custom Chrome still sells them.

Twizted- they're not rare for lowered bikes, but I had a tough time finding one for raised bikes. In fact I don't think I've ever seen another one since I got mine. It's been a long time since I installed it, so I don't know the answer to this, but I wonder if they could be flipped and drilled to work without making them into swiss cheese?
