Default Need Help

I have a 2009 Street Glide and have a 21in wheel in front and 18in in back, with that said, you can imagine how much more the bike leans over.

I currently use a 3-1/2 in spacer under the jiffy stand in my garage to get the proper lean angle.

My question is, does and buddy make something for the jiffy stand (attachment) that will give me the extra space I need or even a new jiffy stand that will work.

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Or possibly a lowering kit. The only extended kickstand I could find was 1", which made little to no difference.

Who ever built the bike should have installed a 1-1 1/2" lowering kit on at least the front suspension to keep the same factory geometry of the frame so you don't run into problems such as this. You might want to check into that!

You can just get an extended kickstand for around a hundred dollars, or do what I did and track down a wedge for about $25 which goes between the kickstand and frame. If you go with a wedge make sure you get the right one- some are thicker on bottom for lowered bikes and some are thicker on top for raised bikes.
I never lowered my front end partly because with the higher clearance I don't scrape the boards nearly as much now and kind of like that, and haven't had any problems with handling. Plus I'm over 6' tall and reach isn't an issue. Front is 21" up from 16" stock ('08 model).

Here's an inexpensive kickstand-

Thanks Loctite, I saw the 1" extension stand and that is what I'm looking for but in a 3". I just didn't see one that long and probably wont fit under the bike in the retracted position. I will check into the wedge as you suggested. Only thing is where did you get one and how did it position your stand in the retracted position
