I have a 2014 street Glide special purchased new last Jan. I went to take the bike out for a ride today and after I started the bike up. I noticed I have no navigation screen, radio functions etc. Just a blank screen this is not the first time it has happened. Any body else have this happen? It first happened last month I took it in to the dealer ship right away and they checked it out. They said it needed an update and reflashed it. Now that it has happened again today out of warranty by 2 weeks. I wonder what they will say when I bring it in tomorrow to get it checked out?

Go here [http://www.harley-davidson.com/conte...downloads.hml] and compare the software version on your bike, with the newest software available. Make sure you select the correct type infotainment unit and download the newer version. If it isn't the same, onto your computer and unzip it onto an 8 gig flash drive and flash your system yourself. instructions are on the page. If that doesn't help, then bring it in.
My screen is blank does not show anything at all. Does it have a reset button? I downloaded the file from the Harley website. But I cannot see anything on the screen.

Why would it be out of warranty? New in 2014? Two year warranty? I think you have another 11 months don't you?

D'OH! Hmmm. The only ideas I have are to put the bike in a dark area; The display may be locked in dim mode and can't be seen in bright light, or hold the power button, it may reboot the system. Mine has done weird stuff in the past, too.
It's winter. I called H-D and had them do that to all you guys who live someplace warm and like to post threads about what a lovely ride you had today.
See you in April.
