question about inner tubes
Hey all thanks in advance for your replies. I have a 2005 fxdli Dyna low rider with spoked rims that are original. Does the rear tire 150/80-16 need a inner tube?

For future reference, a rim for tubeless applications will be sealed on the inside with a stiff adhesive along the part of the rim where the spokes penetrate. If there's just a band of rubber that can be easily removed, a tube is required.

Yes buy new tubes.
Usually Ill run a tube for two tires worth of miles. Tubes do wear and have little groves on them that wear down as an indicator. But being 10 years old its wise to replace.
I have yet to see a factory sealed spoke wheel, although I've seen a few do it with 3M 5200 caulking/ adhesive. Dealer told me my wheels/ tires on my 2014 street bob were tubeless... I knew that was a crock of ****, and proved it when I changed my rear tire a month ago.
