Had XM installed at the dealer on my 07 EG Classic. While sitting in the driveway the signal will go from 3 bars, 100%, to 0% and the music will stop and then go back to 100% again. This happens maybe once ever 3 or 4 minutes. Had my car's XM on and on the same station and it was ok. The dealer told me that it must be an XM problem which is bull because the car's radio is fine. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

 

Sounds like they don't have the antenna connected properly.

 

I would agree with rushguy. Check to see if it is plugged in tight. I have my antenna mounted inside the fairing on top of my sony radio and have great reception.

 

I think its the FBI interrupting your signal and implanting subconcious thoughts into your head. That or your antenna is hooked up wrong.

 

i'd say it could be a bad antenna i'm on on my 2nd one. i just experienced the same situation today on my ultra i had the antenna sitting on the radio also! i just finished changing out the antenna againand rigged up a bracket for it to sit higher up inside the fairingit seems to work better already but have not road tested yet!
