antenna is mounted by left switch housing on handlebars.the mount is really cool and it is correct.playin around with it earlier i could put my hand around receiver and i would get 2 bars of signal and it would work fine, move hand no signal.went to a local grocery parking lot faced south nothing around at all no signal....on way home it started working fine, went back to the lot wouldnt work!!!no loss of power anything like that just"aquiring signal"

I use sirius on my Ultra.

When I had the antenna mounted on the handle bar the reception was poor. I moved it and put it on top of the radio under the bat wing. Bam! 3 bars most of the time. The antenna wants to have a few inches of metal around it to actas part of the antenna which helpsincrease the reception.

Try hooking it directly to your radio via an aux. cable from your sirius radio to you HK radio's aux outlet. You will get alot better reception that way. Using the frequency finder does not work very well on the motorcycle. I use an aux. cable in my car and motorcycle and it works great.

I have my antenna mounted inside my fairing directly on top of my radio. I get great reception and sound even when the radio shows only one bar.
