Santa Maria Passport Run w/pics
)I took some pictures and even remember the names this time

The cast was Primo, JEFE, NastyHD, and 2mean2likeplus myself and Hubby leaving Saturday. The pickups of everyone went quite well.
WS6 Formula made a Sunday appearance at the Dealership. Then Mightywarlockmade a less then grand entrance on Sunday but I'll let him and Primo describe/show pictures of that one.
Here we go!

Heading up PCH

Primo and his Girl

Mr. & Mrs NastyHD

Mr. & Mrs. 2mean2like

JEFE (the Mrs. and kids followed later
)
Parking on Santa Barbara Pier --- that wood was a bit unsettling[&:]
We had a great lunch and headed up to the hotel.

We got up the next morning to this! And it stayed with us off and on for
at least 150 miles....(then I peeled off for home)
Forgot to turn the camera on me and hubby but I'm sure primo has a few to share! It was cool to be able to take some picks of the Guys riding from the car window....
Great bunch of folks to hang outand ride with and I look forward to doing this again to otherdestinations.
Here are some of my pics:
Pre-ride chrome inspection in Sherman Oaks. L-R: Mrs. 2mean2like(Jodee), 2mean2like (David), NastyHD(George) and JEFE (Andy).

The gang at Ventura H-D where we picked up Bluerose(Bev) and her hubby Brad (far right).

Lunch on the Wharf in Santa Barbara

Sunday morning at the dealer : Mr & Mrs. NastyHD

Brad (hubby of Bluerose), the now wounded Mighty Warlock (Rich), and Bluerose at the dealer Sunday morning.

A sad, dejected, wounded and bloodied Mighty Warlock holding an icepack to his swollen but hopefully not broken hand.
nastyHD on the right.

The source of Might Warlocks' dejection:
His '07 Ultra took a nose dive literally in eyeshot of the dealer.
After braving the rain and cold for 200+ miles our valiant Warlock was stricken by the rain gremlins while taking
the exit off the 101 to the dealer and his final destination.
As he made his way down the offramp, the wet pavement failed him and he and his beloved ride went down. He appeared
to take a bloody wound to the knee and his right handwas swollen considerably. Preliminary reports state that nothing was
broken and it is believed he was lucky enough to hook-up with a fellow Angeleno who happened to have a trailer to bring
his bike back on. While the bike was still rideable Rich's hand did allow for the 200 mile ride.
Preliminary damagereport: Fairing scratched with possible broken bracket, busted mirror, bent engine guard, cracked lower,
left side running light broken, damages to the tourpak+ assorted other scratches along the riders' left side of his bike.
Worst part was Rich's utter frustration. Probably more mad than hurt. Just one of those things that happens.
Get better fast Mighty Warlock and feel free to add or make corrections as you wish.
Had a great time everyone.
Looking forward to the next ride together,
Primo

I noticed that none of you are wearing chaps or kevlar jeans - Is it just too hot in CAfor the extra gear? It's nice to see you all hook up, thanks for the pictures. mightywarlock, sorry to hear about your accident in the rain, hopefully the repairs to your bike can beaccomplished quickly and get you back on the road.
As for chaps, some out here wear them but I think they are more popular in the colder states.
