Now before the deluge of responses of shaking of heads for not knowing one end of a spanner from the other....my mechanical knowledge is zero ( ) hence the reason for me asking the question here.
Walked up to my bike from the back this evening and happened to notice something about the exhausts. No taking to account my lack of mechanical knowledge plus it's my 1st HD plus I only got it a few weeks back here is my question.....
The right hand pipe I can see all the way up the pipe but the left hand pipe seems to have a 'bit the right side doesn't ' if that makes sense.
Have attached the photos.
Still running the bike in so don't want to be doing it if something needs checking.
Or chances are I am just the guy that mechanics love when I take the car / bike to be serviced :/
And the other side
(Would not let me attach 2 pics)

My Electra Glide is like that Right side is open and the left side looks like something is blocking the view. It runs great like that so I guess that is the way it is suppose to be.
OP - it will always be a lot more helpful if you could inform everyone what you're riding (year, model) in your post - this will provide everyone the ability to provide more accurate information to the answer you seek.
For example if I asked the same question - the response would be different as I run a 2 into 1 pipe with a ghost left pipe - thus my right pipe would see all of the exhaust and the left will be baby clean
Not picking on ya, just trying to hep you along...
Parked in kitchen....I wish. Cheap Lino pattern floor in garage.
Found out it is because right pipe is main pipe and left is for idling.
So needs to be full pressure on one and not so much the other....if that makes sense
