my kid and i are riding out to sturgis this year for the 75th anniversary. we are so excited. this is going to be a great bonding time for he and i. now that he is 25 we can do real grown up things together. our journey is going to start on August 1st and hopefully get us there by Tueasday August 4th mid day. it looks like we are going to travel through 8 states and ride about 2300 miles. once there we are camping out at the broken spoke camp ground....hope to see some of you out there...happy trails!!
My mother is 75 and lives in the UK. Last year she went travelling around the U.S. on a coach trip and ended up in Sturgis whilst the rally was on. She takes great pleasure in telling me she has been to Sturgis and I haven't.
We have a group going and we plan on broadcasting from Sturgis.
Since I work for myself and have to pay for coverage for my clients, time off can be expensive - so we're taking an RV and trailering the bikes. That way we can take turns driving and get there in about a day.
Long Ride Shields was there last year, and is planning on being there again this year. I personally want to go. I want a new tattoo. And, I want to see some cool bikes.

A buddy of mine and I are heading there through Yellowstone. We'll be pulling into Sturgis on the 2nd and leaving on the 6th. Camping at Creekside. 1st time there and I can't wait.
I'll be there. I'll be on my RK, my OL will be on her RK, and another couple will be on my buddy's Heritage. We're leaving Columbus on the 31st and stopping in Peoria and Sioux Falls. We should roll into the Chip on Sunday afternoon. We'll head east again on Friday.
