If my bike is off and in gear, should it be able to roll freely with the clutch engaged?
In gear with the clutch engaged, it will not roll freely, since the engine will resist spinning. But parked in neutral with clutched engaged, it will roll freely. Parked in gear, with clutch disengaged, on a wet clutch, it will roll freely once any stiction that may be present between the disengaged friction and pressure plates of the clutch is overcome.
