Hello to everyone and glad to have found the msg board.. As the title implies I am new to Harley Davidson.. My dad and grandfather have a heritage soft tail and a road king.. I would like a bike with the get up and power of the road king but the size of the heritage classic. I like the way the road king rides and power but just wanting something smaller and more agile.. And wanting comfort for hwy riding . Which bike would fit me best?
Only you can know which is best for you. Go test ride or look at renting different models for a day each. Renting will be expensive but worth it to know you bought the bike that's best for you. Be safe and welcome to the club!

The Road King may be heavier than a Heritage, but the RK is WAY more agile. The Heritage won't lean. (Check the lean angles on the Harley site. There is a HUGE difference.)
I went from a Heritage to an RK; scrapped the boards all the time on my Heritage. Have yet to scrape on the RK. Either model is a fine choice.👍
Same here, went from Heritage to Ultra. Was worried about maneuverability on city streets and parking lots.
Ultra though bigger & heavier seems much more agile, even at slow speed.
Scraped foot boards all the time on Hertitage. Have yet to do so on the Ultra.
Do kind of miss the Heritage for looks though.
As others have said, you have to choose what's best for you. Depends on what kind of riding you plan to do most, riding style, and personal preference. Try out several models, even those you might not think you'll like. You might surprise yourself
