Long story short I have been diagnosed with brain cancer and have had one tumor surgericaly removed and am undergoing radiation and chemo to try to get rid of the other one. I had just got my 100th anniversary deuce right before I found all this out. I currently dont have use of my left arm or hand and left leg is marginal at best just to limp around with. Drs say its cause of the swelling in my brain and things should get better with time and treatments. But will never have full useage of either again. So here is my question, I can put a auto clutch in so I wont need the clutch lever but shifting would have to be a right side jocky shift by the side of the tank, but who makes this setup that would fit my deuce? Ive been thinking about it and this seems like about the only setup that would work to get me riding again after my treatments are done.

I run an EFM autoclutch. You shift the same as always (lower RPM) but you don't need to pull the lever. Basically, you send in your clutch & they modify it & send it back. Phone number is 333-947-1700.

Here's me riding.

Bruce, I can't contribute to the technical side, but sending prayers your way for a speedy recovery. Not sure you have watched Why We Ride. If not definitely get it. The whole thing is inspiring. There's a guy in there that lost both legs from the knee down and now rides with prosthetics. So there is definitely a way to get that shifting elsewhere.

Have been looking at air and electric shifters too. Might not be the best idea to try the right side jocky shift if I can't use my left arm.. No hands on the bars tring to jocky shift it could be dangerous..lol
