I will be coming home from Afcrapistan in a few weeks. Making the jump from Japan to Milwaukee. Been on GoldWings for decades, now going for the Electra Glide Ultra Classic.
My sweetheart is giving me a ton of grief over this.
She is 5'3" - I am 6' even. Will she be able to see over my helmet or will I need to get a custom taller seat for her?
Confirmed she will be fine....
I am 6'5" and my wife is 5'5"....
Most of it is up to the seat, how high hers is. My wife sees fine.
Even my daughter, she is 5', she puts her face right over my right shoulder like a dog sticking its head out the car door window and sees fine.
Dunno which seat you have, likely fine for her. But if she wants more height, swapping out a new seat with a higher pad for her is easy.
Stewart - you have opened a different can for me now. She has asked about a trailer. Your photo will speak volumes.
Iceman - thanks brother! She loves to ride already. Hope this makes it more so.
Chickin - thanks for the welcome. Is that your bike in your avatar? She's a beauty.
StoneCat - Nice ride!Iif your wife is okay looking over your tall self, then I shouldn't worry. As long as she wants to ride, I will build her a step-stool to sit on - cushioned, of course. Your comment has now put in my mind the image of a dog on a hog.
