I wear German jack boots on the Harley they really are as tough as old boots and real comfortable I have them for years I don't walk around in them there is a bit of wear from gear changes . I bough a new pair off e bay to replace them when they give up eventually the devious bastard selling them never showed the soles they got like a iron horse shoe on the heel had I seen it I wouldn't have even bid on them . I will get them reheeled in time . I only tried then on once in the house . I sounded like a horse walking about the place and damn near broke my neck on the kitchen tiles I just took off I was lucky to save the slide 
I wear them all the time, never felt like I needed to but on a special pair of boots or outfit to go ride. I ride the bike with whatever pair of boots I happen to be wearing that day. If your worried about the leather soles get some with Vibram soles. I have several pairs of Ariats with Vibram soles. In fact several "cowboy boot" manufactures make multiple models with vibram soles

Rocky Boots have a good selection of western style boots for work or play. I picked up a pair with a low heel and rubber soles.

Yea, because we all know you can't ride your bike if everything from your underwear to your leather isn't Licensed by Harley.

Are those Fryes? Came here to post the same thing. I have a pair of those harness ones.
I only wear them like January/February when it's cold. Not a fan of boots but these are nice. ****ing super thick leather.

Double H ropers with their Ice sole. Though, most of their offerings these days are square-toe where I am a round-toe kinda guy. I've had a pair of their round-toe ropers for ~15 years now. Excellent boots.
