Cheap Rx riding glasses
Looking for some Rx riding glasses with transition lenses. Made a trip to my local eye dr. and tried some wiley x glasses and the grand total ended up to $360! Thought I could do some searching online and find some cheaper with no luck. I have looked at wiley x, 7 eye, and more. None of them are very cheap. I hate to spend that much on sunglasses but I will if I can't find anything cheaper. Anyone out there drop that kinda money on it or did you find something cheaper?

The Wiley-X are Z87 shatter proof rated. Depends on what Wiley frame your looking for but that seems a bit high. You can get a pair of frames off of Ebay and send them in to Wiley X with the script and they can do it, might be cheaper.

I build all my glasses on Zenni. Not motorcycle specific though. I guess you could build their sports models. Been saving tons of money for my family for years.

I know you get what you pay for but the wiley frames I liked was only $88 the rest was for the lenses. I just feel like it's a little steep. I figured it would be $150 to $200 not almost 400

I had the same issue and two pairs I did buy did not last. So the last time I got new everyday glass I skipped on sunglasses and went to Walmart eye department and ordered a pair of curved glasses that have last three years and where under $200.

+1 on Walmart. I got two pair of DVX frames with progressive bi-focals for less than $400.00. DVX are "designed by Wiley X" and are ANSI safety rated. I didn't go for the transitions, I bought a pair of sunglasses and a pair of clear. (Hindsight being what it is, I wish I would have paid for the transitions instead getting just the clear.)
