Had a large dog run in front of me he was after the front wheel, got on the brakes but when I saw I was going to hit him I let off and got a good grip on the bars, dam dog hit hard enough to throw me sideways and of I went. Have missed a lot of deer and dogs in the past yrs but this sucker was on a mission. But he won't be chasing anything else.

Was it a stray or did it belong to somebody? I hope your insurance doesn't try to stuff you.
Glad your injuries are not worse than they are.
After you heal up, keep Epsom salt in your bathroom at all times. When the weather turns bad, and you start hurting, fill the tub with hot water and Epsom salt and soak for a couple of hours. It's the best thing for aching bones and muscles as well as old injuries.

Funny you mention a dog, I hit a full grown German Shepard once on a little dirt bike, chunked me over the handle bars and skinned me all to hell. The dog did some rolls and got up yelping running to the back side of a house near by. The owner came out and asked if the dog was all right, I said F%%K the dog, look at my bike!! whose gonna pay to fix that? She says, oh that weren't my dog.
