Get off the slabs. There are plenty of good rides in KS but not on the fast tracks. People passing through are in too big a hurry to take the two lanes and county roads, where most of the fun is. Lots of lakes, fishing holes, some motorcycle museums, historical sights, waterfalls and destination events. It's in the middle of the nation and a days ride from mountains on both sides, for you twisty lovers. Not my favorite place to live but the place I live. Lemonade anyone ?
I've been trying to get my buddies over here in (do I dare say Independence?)

Byrant's fan myself the old original down off E.18th I make a point of timing my flights so I can hit them coming and going when I drop into town.

I used to live at 7th and Barnett...right behind Memorial Hall. I used to work just north of 10th and Central. You and I need to have a beer Ray.
I smoked pot across the street on the roof of the city hall many times delivering
the Kansan paper with the cop shop just underneath back in the 70's as a teen.
