First time in eight years, Riding on sunday morning and felt something sting my arm under my jacket. Slapped my arm and everything was fine. 10 minutes later 8 inches up my arm sting again. 20 minutes later it stung my sholder, I pulled over and did the retard bee in my shirt dance. He got me 4 times up to my neckand my arm looks huge today!
I'm not lucky when it comes to riding and bees, been stung plenty, once the little sucker was between my helmet strap and my face.[:@]Another time I was hit in the face by a hornet, I didn't know what had hit me, but could feel it fluttering on my cheek. So I brushed it away I thought, ended up on my chest andstung me four times before I grabbed it with my glove. When I looked down and seen what had got me I crushed the sucker.
I hit a swarm last year, lucky for me I had on all the gear, leather coat ,helmet and gloves. I didnât get stung but they were bouncing off of my shoulders and helmet. George
If that swelling from the stings doesnt go down in the next day check
with your doctor. One or two stings is liveable but more could be an issue.
That sounds like one heck of a ride
Take care, here's hoping your next ride is more enjoyable.
Be there done that got one in the face a couple of weeks back, look like a chip monk with nuts on one side of my mouth. I guess it's the small price to pay to ride and be one with mother nature HA HA!!!
I got nailed a couple of weeks ago by a honey bee. Going North on I-35 at about 70mph, the bee hit my left middle finger and bounced up on my face and got caught between my face and helmet. **** stung the crap out of me. The wife isyelling "just drive, just drive" while I'm trying to pick out the stinger while cursing and riding with one hand. Yeah right, "just drive". [align=right]

I rode thru a big bee swarm last summer, probably several hundred or a thousand bees in a big cluster... I saw it about half a second before I hit it at about 70 mph. Most I could do was duck my head (half helmet on this time) and brace myself! It sounded like a hundred buckshot hitting me all at once... no stings! I was lucky...
I've been stung quitea few times though

I had the exact same thing happen to me on I-25 just north of Socorro N.M. last week! I also thought it sounded like buckshot. I didn't get stung either, and was not sure what I had gone through until I stopped for gas and started picking bee parts off the bike. Made one HELL of a mess on the bike!
