I use plexus sprayed on a microfiber applicator. Bugs disolve nicely. Buff with a microfiber cloth. Quick and easy, takes just a minute or two after each ride.

I do the same. Plexus works great.

The best thing to do is get a towel or shammy wet& lay it on the windshield for about 10 mins in the sun. After that the bugs will just wipe off, its awesome, then you can wax& clean as needed
This is what I do, and it works everytime. Also, if your traveling, you can pretty much always find some water. I keep a couple of towels on the bike, don't have to carry all these specialty products.

On everything but the windshield I just spray on Harley Spray Cleaner & Polish, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and wipe of with a soft clean cloth. On the windshield novus spray cleaner works well.

Jeez. Just whiz on 'em and use your wife's bandana to wipe them off.

I hook two electrodes to the bike, pulse it at an ultra sonic rate and they just vibrate off.

Safety Note: ensure the correct frequency is used or the paint will fall off as well.

damp microfiber cloth followed with a dry one. A good coat of Plexus on the windshield keeps it easy to remove bugs. On trips, I carry a baggie with a wet microfiber towel in it to keep the bugs from accumulating too much.

Do you hook the positive clip to the windshield or the negative clip?

I've heard of Plexus, it's used in the Aircraft community. I used to use stuff I thnk was called "Psssssst", it was made for airplane/hellicopter windshields. Worked good on them. I really love the product called Dri-wash n' Guard. A little goes a LONG way, though pricey it's good!
