Harley commuters?

I commute every day on my Harley, just like I did on my Honda before I got the Harley. There are only a handful of days each year that I DON'T ride, which is ONLY due to slippery snow or ice being on the roads. I have, on occasion, ridden even when there WAS snow/slush on the roads, but when that got real squirrelly, real quick, I now opt to avoid that. However, living in NM, we don't have very many of THOSE kind of days each year. For cold temps, I still rode down to 17 degrees, so far, and as warm goes as high as 102 degrees. With the right gear (heated gloves for the cold, and mesh textile jacket for hot), I've been able to handle it all, at least so far. My commute, though, is pretty short (only about 8-10 miles each way), so it's not near as bad as some of you with longer rides. Still, it sure saves me a TON of $ in gas! I filled up last week for all of $13 for mid-grade, and a tank will usually last me about a week and a half, unless I do lots of riding on the weekend.
